Quick answerFacebook auto replies usually fail for one of four reasons: the account is a personal profile not a Page, two tools answer the same Page, the comment is older than 7 days or already got a private reply, or the 24-hour window closed. Check those first, then permissions and keyword matching.
The fixes
- Use a Page. Personal profiles cannot use Messenger automation.
- Turn off overlapping automations. Business Suite and another tool answering the same Page will clash.
- Check the comment's age. Private replies only work within 7 days of the comment.
- One private reply per comment. A person who comments twice on the same comment thread will not get two.
- Check the 24-hour window. Follow-ups after 24 hours of silence are blocked.
- Reconnect the Page. If you changed your Facebook password or Page roles, the connection may have expired.
- Grant every permission. Facebook Login asks for messaging permissions. Skipping one breaks replies.
- Check the keyword. Spelling, emoji and "contains" vs "exact" matching all matter.
- Check the post. The automation must cover the post that got the comment, or "every post".
