How it works
- Pick the post. One post, several, or every post on your Page (Pro).
- Set the keywords. One word, several words, or every comment.
- Write the public replies. Add 2 or 3 versions so your comments never look copy-pasted.
- Write the Messenger DM. Text, link buttons and an optional email ask.
Facebook's rules for comment replies
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| One private reply per comment | Each comment gets one Messenger message. A second message needs the person to reply or tap a button. |
| Within 7 days | Comments older than 7 days cannot get a private reply. |
| Pages only | Not personal profiles or groups. Pages cannot private reply to other Pages. |
Auto reply vs auto comment
Auto reply answers comments people leave on your own Page. "Auto comment" tools post comments on other people's posts, which Facebook treats as spam. FameChamp only does the first.
Free option: Meta Business Suite
Business Suite has a "comment to message" automation with a few keywords and one message. It suits a single simple reply. For link tracking, public reply variants, email capture and follow-up nudges, use a tool. Step-by-step for both: how to message people who comment on your Facebook post.
Run the same post on Instagram
Cross-posting a reel? Set up Instagram comment to DM with the same keyword.
