Quick answerA Facebook Page welcome message is an automatic Messenger reply sent when someone messages your Page for the first time. Meta Business Suite offers instant replies for free. A tool like FameChamp adds link buttons, click tracking, keyword replies and email capture in the same chat.

Option 1: Meta Business Suite (free)

  1. Open Meta Business Suite and go to Inbox.
  2. Open Automations and choose the instant reply.
  3. Write the message, choose Messenger, and save.

Meta renames these menus often. The instant reply suits a single text message.

Option 2: An automation tool

Use a tool when the welcome message should do more: link buttons, a keyword menu, or a question that routes people. FameChamp's welcome trigger sends once to every new chat, and a default reply catches messages no keyword covers. See Facebook auto reply.
