Privacy policy

Who we are

FameChamp (famechamp.com and app.famechamp.com) is operated by NexiBeam Technologies Private Limited, No. 107, 3rd Block, 7th Cross, D Group Layout, Lingadheranahalli, Andrahalli, Bangalore 560091, Karnataka, India ("we", "us"). We decide how your account data is used. For the data of people who message your Instagram account, we act on your behalf. Contact: support@famechamp.com.

What we collect

• Your account. Name, email address and profile picture from Google sign-in, workspace settings, and teammates you invite.
• Instagram data. When you connect a Professional Instagram account through Meta's official login, we receive an access token (stored encrypted), your account id, username and profile picture, your posts and reels, and the comments, story replies and direct messages sent to your account. We request the permissions instagram_business_basic, instagram_business_manage_messages and instagram_business_manage_comments, and use them only to run the automations and inbox you set up.
• Your followers' data (contacts). For people who interact with your account: their Instagram-scoped id, username, name and profile picture as provided by Instagram, the messages exchanged, which automation they came from, links they clicked, and any email address or phone number they choose to share.
• Bio page visitors. Page views and link clicks, and email addresses entered into a bio page form.
• Billing. Plan, billing status and invoices. Card and bank details are handled by our payment providers; we never see or store them.
• Technical data. IP address and browser details in server logs, used for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

• To run your automations: receive Instagram events, send the replies and DMs you configured, and show your inbox and analytics.
• To write AI replies and detect message intent, only if you turn on AI features.
• To bill you, give support, prevent abuse, keep the service secure, comply with Meta's policies and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use your or your followers' data to train AI models. Our use of Instagram data follows Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

Who we share it with

• Meta (Instagram), to send and receive messages and comments.
• Google, for sign-in.
• Anthropic, which processes message text and your brand profile to write AI replies when AI features are on. Anthropic does not train its models on this data.
• Dodo Payments (USD) and Razorpay (INR), to process payments.
• Hosting: our servers run on Oracle Cloud; our website is served through Vercel and Cloudflare.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it. Some providers process data outside India, including in the United States, under their contractual safeguards.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies: a signed, HttpOnly session cookie to keep you logged in and short-lived cookies for secure sign-in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep data

• Raw link clicks: 90 days. Instagram webhook events: 30 days. Analytics on the Free plan: 30 days.
• Messages and contacts: while the Instagram account stays connected to your workspace.
• When you disconnect an Instagram account, delete your account, or remove FameChamp in Instagram settings, we delete the related data within 30 days. Backups are overwritten within 7 days after that.
• Billing records: as long as tax law requires.

Deleting your data

Delete your account and data from Settings in the app, or remove FameChamp from your Instagram settings under Apps and websites. Instagram then sends us a deletion request, and you can check its status at app.famechamp.com/data-deletion. You can also email support@famechamp.com. If you messaged one of our customers and want your data removed, contact that account or email us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Email support@famechamp.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Instagram and payment webhooks are verified by their signatures. Each workspace can see only its own data.

Children

FameChamp is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has an account, email us and we will remove it.

Links to other sites

Automations and bio pages can link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own, not ours.

Changes

We post updates here and change the date above. For material changes we email account owners at least 14 days before they take effect.
