Add a link in the Instagram app
- Go to your profile and tap Edit profile.
- Tap Links, then Add external link.
- Paste the full URL, including https://, and add a title if you like.
- Tap Done. Repeat for up to 5 links, and drag to reorder.
One link or five?
Five links are handy, but visitors only see the first one until they tap for more. Many creators use one link in bio page instead, so they can change offers without editing their profile, and see which link gets clicks.
Links your audience will actually tap
- Name the link after the benefit: "Free 7-day plan", not "My website".
- Put your newest offer first and say so in the caption.
- Better still, skip the bio trip: use comment to DM so the link arrives in their inbox.
